Jim started to feel the pull to help people be wise with money while working in the YMCA and finishing his Master’s in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. With the ultimate goal of being the CEO of a YMCA, Jim never expected that God would lead him towards a career in financial services. Thrivent Financial was the perfect company to help Jim carry out his mission to help others, wear his faith on his sleeve, and produce an income that allows him to do more and give more than he ever anticipated.

For 5 years, Jim grew his Financial Practice as a Financial Advisor in Bloomington, IL. He was introduced to an opportunity grow Thrivent Financials’ impact in the Greater Memphis Area back in 2017 and made the move in the spring of 2018. Thrivent is a unique membership organization of Christians helping people to be wise with money and to live generous lives. “I call it the biggest company you’ve never heard of!” said Jim in about Thrivent. “We are a not for profit, Fortune 500 company.” Jim’s role with Thrivent in Memphis is Regional Development Director. Jim helps to recruit, hire, and launch new financial practices with Thrivent in the Greater Memphis Area.

Jim and his wife, Rachel, have 3 daughters. The family loves to travel, and they are die hard Chicago Bears and Cubs fans!
